The purpose of providing Pearson Inform to all LISD faculty is to allow teachers the opportunity to view testing data of students. The A Team hosts training sessions throughout the school year to use Pearson Inform. Participants are shown how to retrieve testing mastery on one student, small groups and entire classes of students. This is another tool to help the teacher plan and improve instruction in the classroom. The A Team scores all of the district testing at a central location. The mastery is then uploaded routinely onto the Pearson server. Teachers have access to student mastery 24 hours after submitting test answer sheets to the "A" team. TAKS data is also available on the web-based program.
