Dance With Your Heart
2009-2010 Crimson Cadets
Welcome to the website for the CPMS Crimson Cadets. We are currently a 34 member dance team at CPMS. We perform at half-times during home football games in the fall and compete in dance competitions in the spring. We also perform at all school pep rallies.

The Cadets consist of 7th and 8th grade students who committed to finishing our dance camps, Metamorphosis and Ovation, and still wanted to dedicate their smiles and spirit to our team!

Our 2009-2010 officer line consists of six young ladies who help lead our team:

Captain - Kara Ko

Lieutenants -
Christina Loera
Maddi McQueen
Lauren Parks
Alexa Price
Sydney Tran

Spirit Leader - Kristen Olguin
"Hey Cadets!"
You are 100% responsible for checking this website every single Sunday evening after 6 p.m. That is when new information is posted on the "Announcements" page for information about the upcoming week.

I expect you all to keep up with this site and check it often.

Keep your eyes peeled for changes on our calendar in particular.

THANK YOU!
9th Period Cadet Class
In class, Cadets are graded in the same manner as all other CPMS dance classes:

60% Full Participation - this is where a grade is earned for dressing according to your schedule each day, taking off all jewelry, and securing your hair off your face and neck. Mostly, this is where you are rewarded academically for giving 100% of yourself during class and rehearsal.

30% Content Mastery - everyone is given plenty of time to learn all the dances. Cadets are expected to practice at home so they don't forget previous dances while we learn new ones. Your grade in football season comes from your football rountine skills tests! In spring, it comes from pep rallies, competition efforts, our spring show, and choreography projects.

10% Notebook/Homework - as in all other dance classes, Cadets are expected to keep a notebook to keep all Cadet information in one place. Cadets are also expected to turn in weekly workout sheets every Monday as a part of their homework for the class.
