Procedures
When you find a video conference in which you would like to participate or create a conference you would like to share, you will need to contact your campus instructional technology facilitator with the date and time of your session. The instructional technology facilitator will reserve the necessary equipment and make sure it is ready to go for your session.

If you are connecting to a site that is providing content for you, they may require that you fill-out online forms about our connectivity equipment (your facilitator will be able to assist you) and participate in pre and/or post conference communications.
Instructor Checklist
* Test connection to far site in advance
* Practice using the equipment
* Have a backup plan
* Practice your session
* Decide what to wear
* Prepare materials
* Have a technical contact on standby
Troubleshooting Tips
* Restart Polycom
* Do not change cabling; but you can check to make sure everything is securely plugged in correctly
* Call Instructional Tech Facilitator
Cost
While you will find many opportunities for free sessions, there will be times when you may want to participate in a session that requires a connectivity fee. The funding of video conferencing opportunities is the responsibility of the teacher/ department/ or campus.
