My name is Hondo Shapley. I teach U.S. History and coach freshmen football and basketball.

U.S. History will be part of the new TAKS test required of all 2005 graduates and beyond. This creates a new challenge for students as they must not only maintain a certain level of academic work but also retain the knowledge needed to pass the TAKS test. This is a partnership between student and teacher. I look forward to the challenge.
