Our intrepid reporter Whitney Stahl was trying to find out why students were tardy to class. This was our first story package.

In our second story package, we take a look at the Culinary Arts program "Lone Wolf Cafe".

It was a big day for us at cphs-tv. We welcomed visiting dignitaries, Superintendent Tom Glenn and Assistant Superintendent Monta Akin to the school. We also aired Rachel Thurner's story package about Extreme Makeover - Home Edition's visit to Austin. She and her crew were there around the clock to get the story.

In addition to helping DECA promote Biker Night at the Timberdome, we introduced our new and improved Bond Intro.

Brad had highlights from the Crosstown Showdown and introduced the "Play of the Game".

Brad Foster was credentialed to cover the Central Texas All Star Football Game in the Erwin Center and brought back the play by play on the highlight reel.

Everyone got into the action with the premier of "We are the T-wolves" school spirit transition.

The Editorial Board of the student newspaper, The Wolfpack, makes a pitch in support of staff recruitment for next year's Wolfpack staff.

Principal LaFevers addresses the student body about the upcoming Shattered Dreams program during this last broadcast before Spring Break. Our Broadcast Journalism classes involvement in filming Shattered Dreams and producing the two movies for the assemblies this year, made it impossible for us to produce a broadcast on either Thursday or Friday.

CPHS Spanish Club attended the PASF State Convention on March 9, 10, and 11th. Beatriz Villalon received a first place medal in the reading contest. In the art division, their poster received Honorable Mention.

We had a rough morning and ran a little late as we tried a new shooting arrangement and show template that allows for three cameras and filming in one section.

We also ran a short transition for the CPHS Forensic Team that promoted a fundraiser in conjunction with Firehouse Subs.

The Wolfcast Sports Report featured some highlights from last night's game where Jessica Rattan pitched to a 10-3 victory.

The Wolfcast welcomes the crew of the NBC's Today Show who were on campus to interview Mr. Johnson and his students about the Bible classes for a segment airing Friday morning.

We created a little excitement when we helped promote Leander Educational Excellence Foundation's “Giving Back to the Future” Classic Car Show which will take place here at CPHS on Saturday, April 28th.

Clint Johnson delivered a solemn message of reflection and hope in recognition of the tragedy at Virginia Tech for our "Something To Think About" segment.

We enjoyed watching the elementary students of Ms. Bentley's class at Deer Creek Elementary School say the Pledge of Allegiance.

Teaming up again for the first time since our first week of broadcasting back in November, Clint and Becky anchor The Wolfcast.

After waiting for several weeks for NBC to air the Today Show segment filmed at CPHS, we finally decided to run our story package about their visit to our school.

We premiered our new Intro featuring Mr. Timberwolf, seen here being greeted by Principal LaFevers.

Brad Foster signed off for the year after his last regularly scheduled Wolfcast Sports Report. Brad thanked the many people who have supported him this year.

John & Jeff's Prom Promotion Part I aired today in the last few days leading up to Prom. Stay tuned for part 2 tomorrow.

This was an emotional day at cphs-tv as we completed our last broadcast of the year - in style.

We featured the top 5 plays of the year. We also featured John & Jeff's Prom Promotion Part II. And we had a new introduction that featured a second Chris Gassaway song - so that we opened and closed the show with his music.

Brad, anchoring at the news desk for the first time, along with Clint, thanked everyone at CPHS for a watching and supporting us during what we felt was a fantastic first year.

Our whole class joined in at the end of the show to say together: “Remember to make it a great day – or not; the choice is yours!”

Due, in part, to AP Exams over the next two weeks and Final Exams starting after that.

We will take this time to continue planning changes for next year. We may broadcast over the TV’s only, occasionally over the next few weeks. If we do, we will notify teachers by email.
