Hi, my name is John Conner, and this is my third year at Cedar Park High School. This year I will be teaching Algebra II and Pre-AP Algebra II.

Algebra II builds upon and extends the foundations that were laid in Algebra I. Our aim throughout the year will be to strengthen each student's grasp of the basics, as well as introducing higher level concepts and techniques. Ultimately, I want my students to possess both the knowledge, enduring curiosity, and study habits that they will need as they progress in their mathematical careers.

Practicing and mastering math concepts is difficult for many students. However, the payoffs-- discipline, abstract thinking and problem solving capabilities-- are unparalleled and critical, regardless of the direction that a student's studies take in the future.

And believe it or not, it can be fun. :)

My Extra Help times are:
Tuesday: 3:50-4:30 pm
Thursday: 3:50-4:30 pm
Friday: 7:50-8:30 am

If you can't make it my extra help sessions, you are always welcome to attend any Math teacher's extra help. There are Algebra II teachers with sessions scheduled every day of the week, both before and after school. Take advantage of that opportunity-- remember, you are ultimately responsible for your own learning.
