Activity 1 - Fire Safety
Students create a scene for fire safety week by using the drawing, paint, and stamp tools.
Activity 2 - Animal Habitat
Use backgrounds and stamps to create an animal habitat scene. Write a sentence/story about what you have learned about this animal & it's habitat.
Activity 3 - If I Were President
Import image from a camera and use the erase tool to take away everything but your head. Then use drawing tools, stickers, animations, and stamps to create a scene.
Finally, flatten the image to the background. Type text and record your voice to complete the picture.
Activity 4 - Begining, Middle & End
Students create a slide show of a story they have written. Using backgrounds, animations, text, and recorded voice you can create and save different slides. When you are finished, pull it all together in a kid pix slide show. Save and export to a Quick Time movie.
Activity 5 - Simple Machines
This project uses an "advanced saving method" where you create a page then add to it an save the 2nd page (an 3rd, 4th, 5th...)

Create a kid pix slide show and Save as Quick Time movie.

Activity 6 - Student Portfolio
Pull these elements together by opening & sharing your iPhoto Library with your class. They will select the pictures they want to use for their own slideshow by saving them to their own album. Students can insert pictures, sounds, and even other quicktime movies into this end of year slide show.
