Hello, my name is Sandra MacLachlan and I have been with Leander High School for several years in many capacities including: Science Teacher (1984-2003), Science Department Chair (1997-2003), IB CAS Coordinator (2000-03), Section 504 Coordinator (2002), and Blue Belle Director (1984-86). This will be my fifth year as Transition Coordinator for Leander High School.
As the Transition Coordinator I will oversee the Leander Independent School District’s Career Development System for Leander High School. In this role, I am responsible for the development, management, and coordination of all career-related programs, activities and opportunities and am your contact should you wish to be involved in any of these opportunities. A few of the programs I work with are Career Passports, ACC Early College Start, ACC Connection (for seniors only), Career and Technical Education, Tech-Prep College Credit-in-Escrow, Texas Scholars, COOL Week (Career Opportunities On Location), ACE (Academic and Career Excellence) classes, and Senior Project.
