Online Attendance

Attendance needs to be posted within the first 15 minutes of every class so that the attendance office can balance and complete daily attendance reports. A list will be run in the attendance office, for each period, of classes that have not been posted.
Initial Log In
|
- All teachers will set up their own User ID and Password in the New User section of the prograam.
- You will need to input your Staff ID and your last name and first initial in order to set up a User ID.
- Staff ID is the teacher employee number with enough zeros before it to make a 9 digit number. Example: 00000####
- This will send you to the next page where you will create a User ID and Password

- Creating User ID
- You should create your USER ID with the following perameters:
- your 3 digit control number (attendance number) which will be given to you by your Attendance Clerk or Registrar.) followed by you 3 letter campus abreviation.
- Example: 103abc

- Creating a Password
- When creating a password use the following criteria
- Must be between 6-9 characters.
- must have at least 3 of the following: upper case letter, lower case letter, number and punctuation.
- Example: LISDrules2 or Idonotno?

- Creating a PIN
- Create a PIN that is 4 numbers
- this can be any 4 numbers you wish it to be.

- Getting Locked Out
- If you attempt to log in unsuccessfully 3 times you will be locked out of the system. If this happens you will need to contact you registrar or attendance clerk to reset your password. You will then need to go to the "Forgot Password" area to create a new password. See next section for details.

Forgot Password / Reset Password
- How to Retrieve Forgotten Password
- Click on the "Forgot Password" link on the right side of the log in page.
- You will need to enter your Staff ID (9 digit number)
- And your Uder ID (3 digit attendance number, 3 letter campus abbreviation)
- You will then be asked a challenge question.
- Now you can change your password. It cannot be the same as before.
- You do not need to change your PIn or enter anything in for the PIN unless you want or need to change it.

- Changing or Reseting Password
- If you were locked out and your password was reset, or you need to change your password, the directions are the same as above.

Posting Attendance
- Posting Time
- 2nd Period attendance should be posted promptly by 9:00 am for Elementary Campuses.
- Use your PIN number to post attendance.

***The state requires a signed, hard copy of attendance to be kept on file for possible auditing purposes. Currently, each campus attendance office is printing weekly reports for teachers to sign. Please make sure you sign your reports.
