My name is Abby LaFevers. I am the fifth grade science teacher here at Rutledge. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BS in Applied Learning and Development.

My goal as a science teacher is to instill in children the same passion for science that I have.

My philosophy on teaching science is to provide an inquiry based learning environment where students feel safe to ask questions, bring in prior knowledge, create experiences and share evidence to support their findings in our scientific community at Rutledge.
