I am Ms. Garcia and this is my second year at Leander High. I am extremely excited to be here. My passion is working with students and sharing my knowledge of the Spanish language and culture. I graduated from Southwestern University in Georgetown, but I am originally from the Houston area. I anticipate teaching a great group of students and hope to instill an interest for speaking Spanish. I know all
students can succeed and will do all I can to make sure that happens this year!

I am committed to doing my best in order for students to be successful while learning Spanish as well as in their daily lives at LHS. All students are encouraged to participate in class and to take the learning beyond my classroom. I would like to stress the importance of my students and building a learning community within my classroom. I am here to teach Spanish, but
more importantly to encourage my students to accomplish their goals and learn.
