Success Comes In I Cans!
Howdy
Howdy, and welcome to Third Grade! I’m excited about the opportunity to get to know my students, as well as their families, and am looking forward to a happy and productive school year.
A little about myself: I am the wife of a wonderful Williamson County Sheriff’s Deputy, am the mother of six beautiful children (four boys & two girls), and am a graduate of Texas A&M University. I currently hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, and have obtained my Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction .

I would like to stress the fact that you are welcome in the classroom on an announced basis, due to possible scheduling conflicts, as studies clearly indicate that parental involvement in a child’s education is one of the strongest indicators of student achievement. Myself, as well as, all of our school staff hope you will make it a priority this year to attend as many school-sponsored events as possible.
If you have any questions or concerns, or if you would like to visit our classroom, schedule a conference, or volunteer to help out, you can contact me via phone at: (512) 434-5300, or via e-mail:andrea.pearson@leanderisd.org. The best times to reach me are between 9:40 and 10:30 AM and 3:00-4:00PM.

Once again, welcome to Mrs. Pearson’s Third Grade Family; let’s work together to make this the best year ever!
RESPONSIBILITY
Responsibility is a huge journey for your student to embark upon, however; this is the time for all of your love and support to start paying off, as you watch your third grader blossom into a proud and intrinsically motivated young student. It is vital at this juncture for families to support their third graders by acting as both coach and cheerleader. There is nothing more dynamic than to watch a child find his or her own way. I believe, though it is truly one of the most difficult things we will do as parents, that it is important for us to allow our kids to come into their own. I am so privileged to be able to see my students stand a little bit taller, to smile a little bit bigger, to answer with a bit more confidence, as they begin to realize just how much they are truly capable of accomplishing on their own.
