iBook Wireless Mobile Lab
Wireless labs offer the most flexibility for maximizing student access and usage. The laptops have all the capabilities of the desktop model-the ability to use word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentations as well as access to the internet.

Guideliines for Using the Wireless Lab
1. Use the Campus Scheduler to sign up for a day and time. Give yourself enough time to get the lab to your classroom and return the lab after you are finished.
2. In your classroom, plug the power cord into an electrical outlet.
3. Plug the ethernet cord connected to the base station into a data port.
4. Have a few designated students take an ibook from the cart and place it on a desk.
5. Open the laptops and press the power button.
6. After students are finished, shut down the laptops.
7. The laptops each have a designated slot in the cart. The slots and the ibooks are numbered. Be sure to return the laptop to its numbered slot and plug in the power cord.
8. Plug the lab into an electrical outlet when it is returned to its home location.
