Hello! My name is Becky Wise, and I teach PreKindergarten at Winkley Elementary School. This is my eighth year teaching PreK. Before PreK I taught 3rd grade for 8 years. I also have taught Middle School math.
I have been married for 40 years. I have three sons, Jimmy(25), Bobby (24), and Charlie (21), and a daughter-in-law, Michelle (25). I also have two beautiful grandchildren, Mikee (6) and Aysha (2). We are lucky to have Grandma living near to us too. In my free time, I love to quilt, travel, and read.
We have lots of fun and exciting things planned for this school year in PreK. We are going to make lots of graphs! We will count many different things such as noodles, blocks, and beans. We will make patterns out of shapes and buttons. We will learn about the alphabet and the days of the week. We also will take several field trips around our community.
On top of all of that, we will be making many new friends. We will learn how to get along with each other and will get better and better at taking care of ourselves. We know we are going to have a wonderful PreK year at Winkley! |
