I hope that everyone has had a wonderful and relaxing summer break. My name is Belinda Labay, and I am very excited about being your child’s teacher this year! This will be my sixth year to teach in the Leander school district. I taught first grade for three years at Charlotte Ann Cox Elementary, and this will be my third year to teach Pre-K. I am a proud graduate of Southwest Texas State University (now known as Texas State University in San Marcos). I have a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies specializing in early childhood, as well as being certified in ESL (English as a second language). In my “free” time I enjoy working on scrapbooks, spending time with my family and friends and reading. I have a wonderful family consisting of my husband, Michael, and our son, Cole. Cole will turn three this September!
