My name is Mrs. Beth Gerstner, or Mrs. "G." to anyone who wishes. I teach Language Arts, Reading, and Social Studies. This is my fourteenth year of teaching, and my fourth year at Naumann Elementary.

I have been married to my husband, Chris, for almost ten years. We have two children; Charlotte, who is a fourth grader and a competitive cheerleader; and Keith, who is a third grader and a Bear Cub in the Boy Scouts. New York City is a great passion of mine: its brilliance and vibrance are something I hope to bring to our class! To promote students to reach for the stars and believe in the achievement of their dreams is one of my sincerest goals.

I earned my certification and degrees from the University of Texas at Austin. I hold certifications for Elementary Education Grades 1-8, for Secondary Education 9-12, and Special Education for K-12. I have a Bachelor Degree in Education/English specialization and a Bachelor Degree in Psychology/Educational Counseling minor. I enjoy teaching, especially when facilitating a student's satisfaction in their own learning.

Fifth Grade is a year filled with growth and maturity both academically, developmentally, and socially! Working together as a team (parent, student, and teacher), we can make it a great success!!!
