Evaluation
Treasures that we found on our journey....using the data you gathered on your diagram, analyze which explorer effected history the most? Which of their discoveries impacted future generations to the greatest degree?

Pretend you are an advertising agent, create a powerpoint presentation to convince others of your greatest explorer choice. Support your presentation with resources from your search by synthesizing your information and ideas from your graphic record for your audience.
Conclusion
Wow! What a trip! As you can see, explorers were very adventurous people who chose to take a journey in hopes of exploring many new places. Their journeys impacted history and the future in many different ways!

To help you apply the information and decisions you have made, complete the following task as an extension to further your utilization of your conclusions.

Activity: It is now 2015. NASA has plans for a new space exploration program. Unlike the Gemini and Apollo missions, they want to name this mission after a real explorer who explored the new world of the Americas. Your company was hired to assist with the selection of an explorer to be the mission's namesake.

Working with others who chose your same explorer and compiling your information, support your choice with data your company members have already acquired in your explorer exploration!
