My teaching began in El Paso ISD in 1978 teaching bilingual first grade. Since then my teaching career has taken me to an Indian Reservation in Arizona for the Bureau of Indian Affairs, on a wagon train and wilderness setting with Vision Quest, to Germany with the Department of Defense Dependent Schools, Austin ISD, Texas Youth Commission as Director of Technology, Del Valle ISD, and finally to Leander ISD.

Much of my teaching career has been in elementary and middle school education as a bilingual/bicultural teacher. Then an opportunity to work with computers and networking changed the direction of my career. Since then I have worked in technology as a teacher, a Director of Technology Education for the Texas Youth Commission,network administrator,and a technology facilitator.
