Flat Mollie is Mrs. Shifflett's dog. She went to visit her cousins in Kingwood, Texas.

Flat Aubrey |
Flat Aubrey traveled with her mom and aunt as they flew on Southwest Airlines from Austin to Nevada, California, Colorado, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Missouri, Tennesee, Florida, Alabama, Louisiana and back to Texas. WOW!! What a trip. Flat Aubrey got to sit in the cockpit with the pilots and worked in the galley to help pass out snacks and drinks.

Flat Riley |
Flat Riley went to Parker, CO. to visit his grandparents. While he was there, he was crawled on by a rattlesnake, went to work at the Parker Library with his grandmother where read a book about his cousin Flat Stanley and was boss for a day at his grandfather's office at State Farm Insurance. He had some other adventures as well before coming home and said it was a GREAT trip.

Flat Kyle |
Flat Kyle traveled to Manassas, Virginia to visit his grandparents. They visited many cool places in town and met some great people. Flat Kyle learned a lot about the Civil War while he was there and came back and taught us many facts about the war and about
some of the battles that were fought very close to that town. Thanks, Flat Kyle.

Flat Brady |
Flat Brady traveled to Houston to visit his Grandmother, Aunt, Uncle and cousins. His Grandmother took him to workout with her at the YMCA, they went to church and since she knows how much Flat Brady loves sports, she took him to see where the major sports teams play in Houston. He had a great time.

Flat Olivia |
Flat Olivia went to visit her sister at Midwestern State University. She had a great time seeing what college is all about. She saw how hard you have to study but she also learned it could be fun too. She got to meet a lot of her sister's friends, went to visit with one of them at work at Chucky Cheese and played on the rides and her sister even made Flat Olivia a whole new wardrobe to bring back to Cedar Park.

Flat Alex |
Flat Alex went to the New England area. He visited his Grandmother in Templeton, Massachusetts. She lives in a 200 year old house there. Unfortunately, the home was damaged by fire recently so Flat Alex was there to see a lot of workers there restoring it. He also saw his great Uncle David who makes Rush Back chairs by hand. What a great art. He went to a cow parade as well which was very interesting before coming home to Cedar Park.

Flat Lily |
Flat Lily went to visit her Auntie M and Uncle Jim in Fallbrook, California. From there, she went with them to Lake Tahoe, where California and Nevada meet, and then to San Diego where they went to a play. Before making the long trip back home, Flat Lily saw the wildfires that were burning in California. She said there was a lot of smoke and it looked VERY scary but luckily it was far enough away that she and her family were safe!!!

Flat Claire |
Flat Claire went to California to visit her Grandparents. She was in San Diego and then made a special trip with her Aunt to San Fransisco. While with her grandparents she went to the beach to hunt for seals, went to work with her grandfather and played on the computer while he worked and did some other fun stuff. Like Flat Lily, she also saw the devastation caused by the wildfires. In San Fransisco, she was very busy, but the highlight was riding on a cable car and getting to ring the bell! What a great trip Flat Claire had.

Flat Frankie |
Flat Frankie went to visit his Aunt Tia in San Antonio. He went to check out the Alamo, the River Walk and the very tall Towers of America building. He also got to work at the airport and do some really cool things like help load baggage onto the plane. He took a side trip one day to Gruene, Texas and went to the oldest dance hall in Texas. He had a great time and we all enjoyed hearing about his adventures to San Antonio and beyond!!!

Flat Matthew |
Flat Matthew went up to Plano, Texas to visit his cousin Catie. Catie took him with her to her gymnastics class, soccer practice and because he was there over Halloween, she even took him trick or treating. She didn't dress him up though because she thought he might look a little silly. Catie dressed up as a devil. I wonder if Flat Matthew was scared?

Flat Shelby |
Flat Shelby traveled to New York where she visited an old friend of her fathers. Her name is Miss Cheryl. Flat Shelby and Miss Cheryl started off by taking the cat to the vet. Snoopy, the cat, was not at all happy about that and put up quite a fuss. Since Flat Shelby loves animals so much, she had a good time doing that. On Thanksgiving, Flat Shelby and Miss Cheryl went to Thanksgiving dinner at Miss Cheryl's parents house on Long Island. The next week they had a lot of meetings to go to in some VERY tall buildings. It was a great trip to New York.

Flat Paiton |
Flat Paiton didn't have to travel far to have a wonderful visit with her Aunt. Flat Paiton went to stay on the University of Texas campus in Austin. She jogged around Lady Bird Lake. It was so pretty and she really enjoyed it. She saw the capital and some other really tall buildings downtown. On campus, She was able to go into the football locker room. She also went into the stadium, saw a lot of football trophies and had her picture taken next to a picture of Vince Young. Since it is so close to home, Flat Paiton hopes to be able to make another trip to see her Aunt.

Flat Kristen |
Flat Kristen has just arrived back from a visit with her cousin Anne in Laguna Beach, California. She was just a block away from the ocean!! She got to put her toes in the sand and a big wave almost came and washed her into the ocean. While there, she took a day trip for business to Las Vegas. Her cousin had to visit some museums there and also traveled to Los Angeles to do the same thing. Flat Kristen got to see some great art work and some really cool sculptures. After her work before coming home, Flat Kristen took one more side trip to northern California for a little snow skiing. What a great adventure with a little bit of everything.

Flat Colin |
Flat Colin went to the Cub Scout Raingutter Regatta in Cedar Park. He also went to the Y's Halloween event. He also traveled to San Antonio to go to Fiesta Texas Fright Fest where he rode some very scary rides. He took Julie our class mascot with him. His Grandmother, whose name is also Julie was with them as well. His grandmother took Flat Colin on a side trip to Johnson City and travel around in the Hill Country.

Flat Christopher |
Flat Christopher went to visit his cousins Patrick and Mackenzie in Wisconsin. It was very cold there and Flat Christopher had to borrow some snow clothes to go sledding in. While there, he was able to visit the Pettit National Ice Center which is an Olympic Training Facility and he went to see the Milwaukee Brewers play a baseball game at Miller Park. Wisconsin is known as the "dairy state" so Flat Christopher also went to see some dairy cows and brought back pictures for us to see. Now he is back and warming up quickly in this great Texas heat!!
