STAND won a Youth in Action Grant from Mothers Against Drunk Driving during the 2005-2006 school year. The grant involves training for participation in "sting operations" to identify illegal sales of alcohol to minors. STAND has participated with TABC, the Cedar Park Police Department, and the Leander Police Department in these operations.
