Calling all Freshmen!
Academic & Career Excellence
The purpose of the ACE course is to provide knowledge of self, career opportunities and high school opportunities so that students develop a plan for success in life. All Freshmen take A.C.E. the first semester of their Freshman year. Ability, personality, aptitude, and interest assessments are completed through True Colors Personality Testing and through the Bridges online software program. The results of these assessments are used to explore careers and post-secondary education opportunities. The culmination of the A.C.E. class is the Student-Led Parent Conference held the week prior to final exams. CPHS has a 96% parent attendance rate for these conferences.

Academic & Career Excellence classes are under the direction of Pat Pewthers, Transition Coordinator. Please call her at 435-8342 if you have questions about the curriculum.
