My name is David King, and this is my tenth year to teach PreAP English I at Cedar Park High School. I graduated from Bryan High School in 1982, then went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in English from Baylor University and a Master's degree in Youth Education from Southwestern Theological Seminary. I was a youth minister for ten years before becoming a classroom teacher.
In all of my classes, I strive to follow our English department purpose "to develop a proficient reader who accurately comprehends a variety of written material, an effective writer who expresses a thought in a clear and concise manner, and a successful communicator who verbalizes thoughts, instructions, and information."
