My name is Debbie Groch. I am so excited to be your child's 3rd grade teacher this year! I would like to tell you a little bit about myself, both personally and professionally.
I was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I attended Michigan State University and Central Michigan University, graduating in 1990 with a Bachelor's in Education. I taught in the Redford Union School District for 12 years - 10 years teaching 6th grade and 2 years teaching 4th grade.
I stopped teaching when I learned our family was moving to Austin. I have 4 children ages 14, 11, 8, and 5. Kelsey, my oldest, is a freshman at Vista Ridge High School. My eldest son Carter is a sixth grader at Henry Middle School. Dawson is going into second grade and Owen will be in kindergarten. I feel very lucky to have been hired as a teacher at Rutledge. It is such a great place to be!
My goals this year are to have a strong partnership between parents, children, and myself to make this a rewarding and exciting year for all. Please feel free to call or e-mail me with any comments, questions, or concerns you may have
(debbie.groch@leanderisd.org). I am looking forward to an exciting year here at Rutledge. Go Rutledge Ranchers!!!
Love,
Debbie Groch
