Hello! My name is Deborah Germany and I teach Integrated Physics and Chemistry (IPC) and Biology. This is my 27th year to teach Science. I have taught at LHS for nineteen years. My goal is to impart a love of science to all my students and help them to understand how science is a part of their lives everyday.

IPC consists of one semester of physics and one semester of chemistry. In physics we study about motion, forces, electricity, magnetism, waves, light, and sound. In chemistry we study about atoms, the periodic table, chemical equations, and chemical reactions.
Biology consists of ecology, cells, biochemistry, metabolism, DNA and genetics, plants, and the human body systems.
