one 1 1/2 inch three-ring binder with pockets
5 tab dividers
notebook paper
blue or black pens
#2 pencils
one highlighter
1 box of tissues

In addition to our non-fiction works, we will read and study the novels and plays listed below. We have some copies that may be checked out, but you are strongly encouraged to purchase an unabridged copy that you can annotate. These books are available at most book stores or can be ordered online. The next work to read (after Huck Finn) is The Scarlet Letter. You will need to finish reading it by the end of the first six weeks.
