Welcome to 1st Grade!

I am so excited to be a part of this time of learning with your child. With your help, I hope to continue and enrich their love of learning and exploring throughout this coming year.

This year will be my fifth year of teaching. After receiving a degree in Journalism from Texas A&M in 1985, I worked in sales and marketing for about 9 years. When my oldest child entered Kindergarten at Naumann, I started volunteering at school quite extensively. I served on the PTA Executive Board for three years and as a Room Representative for four years. My son is now in 9th grade at Cedar Park High School, and my daughter is entering 6th grade at Cedar Park Middle School. My husband, Tommy, and I have been married for 22 years.

After making the decision to revive my career, I completed my teacher certification process at Texas State University. I also obtained my Master's Degree in Education from Texas State.

I am so excited to be at Naumann teaching 1st Grade! This is an important year of learning for your child, and I am so happy to be sharing this time with each of them. I hope to play an instrumental part in helping your child reach their fullest potential. Please feel free to call me at any time. I look forward to working with you this year.
