We have learned all the letters!
However, we will continue to review all letters and sounds. Please work with your child on letter recognition, letter sounds, and letter writing at home.

Each week try to reinforce letter sounds by having your child make up words or find words that begin with the letter of the week.

You can practice writing the letters on paper, in sand, with shaving cream or playdough... be creative and have fun! To help with handwriting, check out this site: www.dnealian.com/lessons.html

Go on a letter hunt and have your child find the letter of the week in magazines or newspapers (even in junk mail).

Play thumbs up or thumbs down. Say a word and if the word starts with the letter of the week, your child puts his/her thumb up. If the word does not start with the letter of the week, your child's thumb should be down.
