Homework is given to students every Monday and needs to be returned by Friday. It is taken home for the week. Each week: the students need to complete all spelling activities, to help them for their test on Friday, finish all math (weekly worksheet and timed test) and science or social studies, and read daily for at least 15 minutes.

There are five new spelling words on the test each week, in addition to five words that were learned in first grade
