I would like to gather your feedback about the Summer Reading Assignment so we can, as a group, determine if it was successful, and whether or not to continue the program. In terms of your time investment preparing for this assignment, how much effort did you put in to the Summer Reading assignment? Do you feel it was, ultimately, worth the extra effort?

How did you use/apply the assignment?

One of the goals for this assignment was to help 8th graders transition into High School and specifically the rigors of Pre-AP coursework. In your opinion, did the assignment help prepare your students for the rigors of your class?

In your opinion/experience, did it raise the caliber of students taking WGPAP? Did the students demonstrate true effort with the project? Did you receive any questions from your students over the summer?

Would you like to see this program continued? Why/Why not?
