We’re Learning!
Math: We are still practicing our money skills & I will be introducing fractions at the end of the week. Ask your child to explain what hairy money is to you.
Language arts: We are learning the forms of verbs. We are also reading Ruby the Copycat and looking at the story elements.
Social Studies: We are learning about living & nonliving things and starting our unit on Plants. The Leander Mayor came and visited today! The kids got to ask many questions to Mayor Cowman. It was very enlightening! The kids also voted today in the library for President. It will be interesting to see if our Whitestone winner is the same as our nation’s winner!
