English III is a survey of American Literature. The course is designed to expand your reading, writing, listening/speaking and critical thinking skills. We will be analyzing literature and evaluating its purpose and form. In addition, we will be creating a variety of written messages that include, but are not limited to, narrative, persuasive, analytical and research papers. You will also learn how to identify, use and evaluate new literary elements, grammar, vocabulary and visual media.
