I remember my kindergarten year very well. My teacher was Miss Egan, and I thought she was an angel on earth. She made such an impact on me that I majored in Early Childhood Education, and visited her 30 years after attending her class.

With such a role model, I have big shoes to fill, but I strive to be that kind of teacher for every child in my class. It is my hope that your child will remember me, not only as an effective teacher, through kindness and humor, but also as a coach who encouraged him/her to strive for fulfillment of potential, to stretch a bit outside the comfort zone for expanded learning and confidence.
