Nov. 17 – 21: Book Fair Week
Nov. 21: Thanksgiving Luncheon – please join us at our normal (brunch) lunch time @ 10:25 in the cafeteria!
Nov. 24 – 28: Thanksgiving Holidays!

REMINDER: Library is every Tuesday -- please help your child remember to bring his/her book

REMEMBER: Every Friday is "show & tell". Students may bring a show & tell item of their choosing that relates to our learning for the week -- color, letter(s), theme (no repeats, please:). Please refer to the monthly newsletter link or the behavior log in your child's daily folder for specific information each week.

Please read the student hand book, page 29, regarding student dress code. I realize that your child is only 5 years old; however, it is important, that as a campus, we are consistent on student dress code enforcement. Remember, our school houses students through the 5th grade.

Listed below are some specific issues that you need to be aware of (copied directly from page 29 of LISD student hand book):
- No tank tops, strapless tops, spaghetti strap tops, backless, large arm holes or off the shoulder tops.
- Tops must meet the beltline and must not reveal undergarments or skin.
- At the elementary level, flip-flops are not permitted during P.E.
- At the elementary level, it is recommended that flip-flops not be worn during recess.

Please guide your child to make appropriate choices when getting dressed for school each day.
