Hello!!!
I am Kriseyda Nace. I grew up in McAllen, Texas and I graduated from the University of Texas Pan American in Edinburg, Texas. I majored in Elementary Education with a minor in Kinesiology. I knew that I wanted to become a teacher when I worked a part time job during college at the McAllen Boys and Girls Club. There, I was able to work with kids on their homework and even teach them different activities such as gymnastics and cheerleading. I enjoyed the feeling that I would get when a child would learn something new and their face would light up. Working with children has been an enjoyable blessing. I can't imagine another job where a person feels like they are really needed in this world.

This will be my second year at Rutledge Elementary School as a 3rd grade teacher. I love working with this age group!!!! Before I came to Rutledge I taught 4th grade in Austin at Blackshear Elementary School. Then I spent five wonderful years at Gattis Elementary School in Round Rock as a 3rd grade teacher.

I enjoy coming to school and I look forward to seeing my students each day. I try to make school an interactive and enjoyable experience for all of my students. My personal goal as a teacher is to motivate students to want to learn and encourage them to become life long learners.

When I am not a school you will find me spending time with my family. We will be boating on the lake, traveling or spending quality time at home watching a movie. My hobbies are spending time out by the pool, dancing, shopping, decorating my home, singing and enjoying my son Crawford.
