Hi, welcome to our 3rd grade class. My name is Mrs. Underwood and we are the "fintastic" fish! This is my sixth year at Naumann and my ninth year to teach third grade. I grew up in Ponca City, Oklahoma-a small town just south of Wichita. I graduated from The University of Central Oklahoma with a Bachelors of Science in Education.
This year is a very transitional and important year for the students. In math, we are getting into multi-digit computations, fractions, and multiplication. Science is full of many units such as matter, light, animals, magnetism, space, and plants. By April, the students will be fully prepared to take the Math TAKS test. This year, I am team teaching with Mrs. Collums. All around, it will be an exciting and challenging year! Thanks for all your support!
