2nd graders have discovered trash aliens have landed at Westside and they will be the ones to tell the exciting story of the adventures the aliens are having here on earth. In order to help us Earthlings better understand the visitors, each student will build a model of the aliens and share their special story with the rest of us!
This unit will ask students to use their math skills and their creative writing skills. We will be learning about measurement, recycling, and alien life.
Please send in clean trash for your student to use in the building of this creature. Each student should also bring in one can of spray paint to share with the class. |
