Fall screening begins on the second day of classes. QUEST classes do not begin until September.

Spring screening will begin in mid May and could possibly carry over until next fall.

If the screening process yields multiple creative and general intellectual indicators for an individual student, I will send a letter home requesting permission to do further testing.

Sometimes the screening process will produce some but not all required indicators. When this happens, the QUEST placement committee may want to know more about the child before recommending further testing.

You may be asked to complete a Parent Referral Form and/or an Outstanding Student Products Portfolio. You can familiarize yourself with both of these by accessing the LISD QUEST website linked below my name. If you decide to complete the survey, please be sure to answer every question and provide specific detailed examples that support each question.
