Is it a Visual Aid or a Product?
What’s the difference between
a product and a visual aid?

A Visual Aid:
• Displays information
• Enhances presentation
• May or may not be created by the student
• Doesn’t require significant thought; could have been created before the study

A Product:
• Creates something new with the information
• Enhances presentation
• Is always created by the student
• Based on significant analysis and evaluation
