My name is Leah May. I love teaching Kindergarten and have been doing it for many years. I have a BS in Early Childhood Education from the University of South Alabama.
This is such a special time in your child's life! We will explore and learn so many things this year! Our cup is always half full!

Language Arts |

We will be learning our letters names, letter sounds, sight words, honing our listening skills, comprehension and many more things on our way to becoming eager readers. We will also work on becoming writers this year!

Math |

We will work on many skills this year, including, but not limited to: number recognition, number values, patterns, likeness/differences, days of the week, months of the year, money, writing numbers and word problems.

Social Studies and Science |
 | |
We have many fun units of study this year, among them, All About Me and Family, Health, Bugs, Maps, Fire Safety, Fairy Tales, Rocks and Soil, Magnets, Animals, Plants, Holidays Around the World and for my class of course, Penguins!
