My name is Loni Meyers. I teach fourth grade at Cypress Elementary. I am very excited about this school year. I am looking forward to working with my students. The students in my classroom are respected, encouraged and challenged.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies and Childhood Development from California State University, Hayward. I also received my teaching certificate (K-8) with supplements in math, science and English from California State University, Hayward. After completing my education, I moved to Leander, Texas. I have had my credential reviewed by the state of Texas and now hold a Texas teaching certificate.

My husband, Rick and I, moved to Leander, Texas three years ago. We are originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. We have two boys, Vinnie and Frankie. Vinnie is 2 years and Frankie was born May 2008. When we are not working, we enjoy playing with our two Boxers, Elvis and Daxx, and one English Mastiff, named Honey Bear.
