I would like to introduce myself to you. My name is Marilyn Carsia. Although I am new to the area, I come to LEANDER ISD with 28 years of teaching experience. During this time I have taught core subject matter, researched different teaching styles and techniques, and designed educational programs to better suit the needs of students.
I live my life and teaching practices by an old, ancient Chinese proverb:
TELL ME I FORGET.
SHOW ME I REMEMBER.
INVOLVE ME I UNDERSTAND.
With this in mind hopefully we can come together as educators, families, and communities to make the goal NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND a reality.
