Hello, Wildcat family! I am Marla Hill, and I teach Music at Whitestone. This is my third year in Leander ISD. I moved here from the Houston area, where I taught Elementary Music for 12 years. Before that, I was a middle school band director for 10 years! I studied French Horn and Music Education at Sam Houston State University. (Go Bearkats!) I have a wonderful husband of 25 years, who also teaches in LISD, and two beautiful daughters who attend Cedar Park High School and Whitestone Elementary. I also have a very goofy dog named Lucy,who we love dearly.
I am looking forward to a great year at Whitestone. Music has been very important in my life, and I hope to pass on my love of music to my students! We will build new skills for reading, playing, singing, listening and moving to great music throughout the year.
