Welcome to first grade! Teaching first grade is the most rewarding job in the world because I get to enjoy the magic of learning through your child's eyes.

My teaching experience includes l6 years in Lubbock and 28 years teaching first grade in Leander. My professional credentials include a B.A. degree and M.E. degree plus 30 hours from Texas Tech University.

The goal of education is to help each student realize his or her potential by developing special gifts and talents. Setting goals and daily practice help a student move forward toward a worthwhile goal. Nothing can take the place of persistence. Persistence and determination produce results. There is no greater challenge than to surpass yourself.
