In the summer of 2006, we flew into Anchorage, Alaska, and drove up to Denali National Park. After exploring the park for a couple of days, we drove back down to Whittier, Alaska, and got on a cruise ship for 7 days.

We saw 8 humpback whales on our cruise!

We were lucky enough to see a mother grizzly with 3 cubs. But not up close!

Caribou and reindeer live in Alaska, too. We saw a small herd of caribou crossing the plains of Denali National Park.

We saw a lot of sea lions, mostly sunning themselves on rocks!

We ended our vacation after spending several days in Vancouver, Canada. Apparently, I've been there before with my parents, but I was little so I don't remember very much. A fun and beautiful city!
