Welcome to the 2007-08 school year! My name is Nancy Steele, and I will be teaching English I and English I Pre-AP this year. This is my third year at Cedar Park High School, and I am very excited about working with the students here. I have taught English for many years, including nine at Burnet High School in Burnet, TX. I am originally from California and attended the University of California, Irvine. My husband and I moved to Texas about thirteen years ago, and we really enjoy living in this area. We are happily raising our two young daughters who are in elementary and middle school. I look forward to meeting all my students and their parents too. I hope you will have an exciting, successful, and productive school year. Ninth grade is a very important transitional year; just know that I am here to help you!
