PACE Math
LISD PACE (Programs for Advancement, Challenge and Enrichment) Math is designed to meet the needs of elementary students who excel or show potential to excel in mathematics. The grade 1 – 5 program challenges students to master math skills at the next higher grade, providing added opportunity and complexity for these advanced math students.

Students are identified for the PACE Math program through scores on Leander ISD’s district assessments, TAKS testing results, or via success in PACE Math in past years. Students transferring from accelerated math programs in other districts may also earn placement in the PACE Math program. For Grades 1 and 2 PACE Math students above-grade level TEKS are embedded in their on-grade-level math curriculum. Grade 3 – 5 PACE Math students receive all daily math instruction through the grade-level PACE Math teacher.
