If you would like to send a snack with your child, I will be setting aside a short snack time in the morning from 9:15 to 9:35. This will be an outside snack time, giving the students a few minutes to stretch their legs and clear their heads. We encourage parents to provide a healthy snack that is easily transferable. The intent is to promote the consumption of nutritious food by students and to limit the access to foods high in fat and sugar content. Here is a list of healthy snack you can send with your child. Please send the snack in a zip lock bag and do not send something that needs to be put in the refrigerator.

Animal crackers
Wheat thins
Flavored rice cakes
Fig Newtons
Dry cereal
Chex Mix
Pretzels
Vanilla wafers
Fruit grain bars
Grapes
Bananas
