My name is Nikki Lawrence. I have lived in Texas for the past year and I am loving every minute of it. I moved last year from Chicago, Illinois where I have lived for my whole life. I did this to be closer to my family who moved down here a couple of years ago. They loved it down here so I thought that I would give Texas a try.

I graduated from The University of Iowa in 2003 and will have my Masters in Education by December.

I am really excited to be teaching Third Grade this year. I believe that it is such a good grade and I think that we are going to have a lot of fun this year. It is important for me to have a learning environment in my classroom where I can learn from my students while they are learning from their peers and myself!
