Hi! My name is Norma Roby. Currently, I am teaching fifth grade language arts and social studies at Naumann.
My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and English. I also have a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education from ETSU, as well as a Mid-Management Certification from Southwest Texas State University.
I have been teaching for 33 years. Fifteen of these years with Leander ISD. My job as an educator has lead me down many paths.I have experience teaching Kindergarten, First, Second, Fourth and Fifth grade. At one point in my life I wrote curriculum and was a principal for the summer session of a district outside of Austin.

Austin has been my home for over 25 years. My favorite part of Austin is Lake Travis. In my spare time I love to read and play with my sweet dog Jack.

My goal is to create a classroom environment full of laughter, fun, and learning. I stress the importance of keeping the lines of communication open between school, parents, and teacher. Please feel free to contact me at any time with your needs. It's going to be a great year!
