Welcome to the fantastic world of first grade! I am so excited to be a part of this excitement with your child! Along with your help, I hope to instill an everlasting love of learning into each child this year. We willl learn so much this year! I am thankful for the opportunity to share this year with your child.

This upcoming year will be my twenty-fourth year to teach. I have been with the Leander School District for the past thirteen years. I began my teaching career in El Paso, Texas and also taught one year in Georgetown. I taught first grade for thirteen years. I taught seven years of Kindergarten and this is my fourth year back in first grade! I absolutely love my job!

I grew up in Minot, North Dakota where I also graduated from college and received a degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood at Minot State University. I moved to El Paso for my first teaching job. It was there that I met and married my husband. We have three children who are all in school. We absolutely love living here in Cedar Park.
